New and changed features include:

Software optimization

With the optimization, CSI software performs faster for example in

• launching software
• opening windows
• searching operations
• loading large lists 

Optimization is done especially for large databases to fasten their management.

The net value gained on these changes, however, depends on your environment.

Further enhancements

• Filtering of critical tasks based on business area
• Completed critical tasks turn grey
• Import of reference payments following the ISO20022 standard
• Maventa e-invoice format: Maventa API or Finvoice 2.0 (applies in Finland)
• Decimal rounding of the total invoice amount (SEK or NOK as bookkeeping currency)
• Possibility to define invoice reference number type

In case you are updating from an older version than 8.0, we strongly recommend getting familiar with the new and changed features listed in the CSI Lawyer Change Document for version 8.0.

Note: From v. 8.0, setting the default database is no more available. Currently CSI Lawyer displays all the database connections saved in the Windows registry at the launch, including demo or test databases, if any.

In case you are using only one database, you can remove the rest of the connections by clicking the minus button in the Select database dialog. Removing a connection does not delete the database itself.

Note2: The CSI extranet has been renewed, too. When updating to the version 8.1, you will automatically be linked to the new CSI extranet.
